Mindfulness for Grounding and insight retreat day
Saturday 27th February 2016 11:15-16:00 at ZenYoga, Camberwell, London
In Zen, the art of nourishing life consists of two main practices. That of taking care of and cultivating our physical and mental health and wellbeing, and that of developing an understanding of our true nature. Like two wings of a bird, or two wheels of a cart, they act together to support one another. The day will focus on developing insight and the energetic grounding needed to support that insight. We will look at some still meditation practices, some movement practices, mindful eating (over lunch), and mindful speaking & listening. Apart from the mindful speaking & listening exercise, they will be held in silence. Please bring vegetarian lunch to share. Tea is provided. |

What people are saying:

"I felt much more grounded. My energy was definitely lower without me "putting it willing fully" lower... How interesting it was to once more experiencing an other way of dealing with my body." - Judith Dec 2014
